The Only Way Is Essex star explained she now feels more confident since slimming down after enduring abuse about her size from some of the show's viewers.
The 24-year-old explained she has dropped from 11st 4lbs to 10st 4lbs after taking herbal weight loss pills and eating a high-protein, low-carb diet.
And she's hired personal trainer Jenny Pacey - who starred in game show Gladiators as Enigma - to put her through her paces.
The 5ft 7in star was so pleased with the results that she stripped off for a bikini photoshoot with new! magazine.
She told the magazine that she felt pressure to lose weight after finding fame on the living soap.
"Looking at myself on the telly, I looked a lot bigger than I do in real life and being in the media, there is extra pressure on you," she said.
And she added: "I've had people on Twitter saying, "You're fat, you're ugly." But those people tweet all celebs abuse so I just think, 'Whatever.' And I get thousands of supportive tweets."
Talking about her least favourite body parts, Lauren explained: "My legs. And on the telly, I look like I've got a double chin! I'm glad I've lost the weight and I want to lose more."
Luckily Lauren's fiancé and Essex co-star Mark Wright has been supporting her by dieting too.
She said: "It was hard in the beginning and if you're tired but, once you get into it, you feel better for it. And you feel better than you would eating a McDonald's.
"Mark has been doing the diet with me and he's got really strong willpower, but there are times when I'm like, 'I could kill for some chocolate!' But I haven't had anything really bad. Well, except for the inside of a sausage roll."
But the dieting not over yet, Lauren added: "I started at 11st 4lbs and now I'm 10st 4lbs, so I've lost a stone in four weeks. I was a size 10-12 and now I'm a healthy 10. Ideally, though, I would want to get down to an 8-10."
It's not just Lauren that's impressed with her new figure, as she says Mark can't get enough of it either.
"Last night, he went to me 'Oh my God babe, you've lost so much weight! Get on those scales!' I was like, 'Shuuut up!' He cares about it more than I do. But I think he cares about me quite a lot and doesn't like anyone saying a bad word about me.
"We went on holiday to Alicante last week and we were pictured in our swimwear, and he wanted us to look good. We look like a nice couple if we're both looking fit. We were away with his family and next we're going on our own holiday to Las Vegas."
